Boys Basketball Coaches
Jeremy Stuhlfauth- Head Varsity (3rd Year) 
Coach Stuhlfauth is in his third year as the head boys basketball coach and is in his fifth year of teaching mathematics at Linden-McKinley High School.  In his second year of coaching at Linden-McKinley he led the team to an 11-11 record in the regular season, the most wins they have had since 2005.  Prior to becoming the head basketball coach at Linden-McKinley, he was the head JV coach at Whetstone High School where he led the team to two consecutive winning seasons.

A 2005 graduate of Whetstone High School, Coach Stuhlfauth earned three varsity letters while playing basketball for four years and was named a captain during his senior year.  He went on to play four years of basketball at Denison University where he graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in Mathematics.  After graduating from Denison, he attended The Ohio State University where he earned his Masters of Education, specializing in Mathematics Education.

Coach Stuhlfauth and his fiancee, Katie, live in Columbus and you will typically see her and his parents at a majority of the Linden-McKinley boys basketball games supporting the coach and players as they look to return Linden-McKinley back to the glory days.
 
 

Kelvin Gaines- Head JV (2nd Year)

Kelvin Gaines joins Linden McKinley for a second season as the Head JV and Assistant Varsity boys basketball coach. He brings several years of basketball knowledge obtained through teaching and playing the game at the high school and collegiate levels. His playing career included an All District Team and All State honorable mention. As a collegiate student athlete for Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, he was a tough minded player who helped capture a conference championship and 5th Place NJCAA finish. Upon finishing his playing career at Cincinnati State, he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology from Central State University. Above all, his focus is on player development, relationship building, mentoring, and creating successful young men.

 

Al Wilson- Asst. Coach (2nd Year)

Al Wilson, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, is his second year as Assistant Boys Basketball coach for both the JV and Varsity teams. Prior to coaching at Linden-McKinley, Coach Wilson played collegiate basketball at the University of Mount Union (Alliance, Ohio) and played at St. Peter Chanel High School (Bedford, Ohio). In addition to coaching basketball, Coach Wilson leads our student-athlete development program, BRICK (Brotherhood. Respect. Intelligence. Community. Knowledge.) as well as leads the college recruiting efforts for our student-athletes. Coach Wilson graduated from the University of Mount Union with his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and earned his Master of Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace University.
